Sue Mitchell

I really miss my friend Sue Mitchell. Her Blogs were so interesting and
so like her, a sharing and caring person. Her Texas Bluebonnets will be
even more beautiful now as we think of her. Life is so short, so make each
moment count.

Today would have been my Mother's birthday. Always think of her.
I've been busy painting more stuff for the Craft show this Fall.
Hope you enjoy seeing my projects.
I think Spring is courting Summer, it seems so warm.
The humming birds are here, and I have two feeders out , one on the back porch and one in the front yard, outside Vernon's window so he can see them, sitting at his desk, reading.

I've been a little busy with doctor appointments, etc, but managed to paint up these two Welcome Signs. I thought Rene` Mullins little Bunny was so spring looking will put this one in the Art Gallery at Paintsville, KY to sell. The apples design is one from Mary Jane Todd and I also put this on an Antique Oil can that has been in my family for over 80 years. I'm going to make a lamp out of the can. Going tomorrow to Lowe's to see if I can find the fittings to make the lamp with, I imagine I will have to order those.

Latest paintings, Thinking of Spring

I decided to paint something Spring related, so got out the "stash" of candy dishes and voila, two dishes and a retcangle box I have had forever. I love Gail Anderson designs and do a lot of them. Hope you like them too.

My partner's ATC for March

I painted two ATC's today for my partner. The white rose is called a sillouette rose.
The chickadee is from a picture I have and the Beagle dog is an Edition print I painted with watercolors.
Nice day weather wise here today. My Vet's paper I rec'd from Chloe's surgery said to bring her back for suture removal, well, we did that today only to be told they don't remove sutures now because they will absorb in about a month. Wasted trip, but Chloe is worth it.
